Soulcial Trust harnesses the collaborative spirit of community to transform. We believe that every actor-whether an individual or organization-that participates in an initiative adds value towards achieving our common goal of a social, soulful society. Our vision is a world where communities join forces to solve social injustice. Soulcial Trust's activities fall under three pillars: - XLability, a disability awareness programme that champions the ability of people with physical challenges to excel. The programme consists of three projects: a disability education course in schools to teach children about disabilities; an all- ability wheelchair sports centre in Siem Reap, Cambodia; and a three-year international wheelchair sports exchange between Cambodia, India, and France. - Green Influence, promoting environmental issues in Cambodia and other countries in Southeast Asia. Soulcial Trust plays a coordinating role between different environmental stakeholders in Siem Reap, taking action to raise awareness on environmental issues and challenges. - Soulcial Travel, a free platform that connects people and NGOs to provide a more impactful volunteer experience.
Le poste
La mission :
The Communications Manager will be responsible for Soulcial Trust's marketing and communications over all pillars:
o Manage and maintain the communication plan
o Manage consumer and PR communications across all three projects: social media, web, blog and press.
o Develop media partnerships and PR database and optimize press coverage
o Identify influencers to connect with on social media globally, as well as locally
o Manage SEO on websites
o Produce communication support for fundraising campaigns and financial sponsorship
o Develop all online content for websites
o Weekly communications update on web traffic, social media and analytics report
In addition, the Communications Manager will be responsible for the Soulcial Travel pillar of Soulcial Trust, with the following responsibilities:
o Manage and update the Soulcial Travel website regularly
o Communicate with potential volunteers when they make volunteer requests
o Develop new partnerships with NGOs to be listed on the website
o Create marketing strategies to increase traffic and use of the website
Improve the website's usability
As we are a small start-up NGO, we are not able to provide any compensation for the duration of the internship. We can provide support and advice for living and budgeting in Siem Reap.
Le profil :
Skills required
o Applicants should have a strong sense of altruism, desire to give back to society and be sensitive to the issues of disability and the environment in Asian developing countries.
o Experience using social media and communication tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, MailChimp, Youtube)
o Creative interests (photography, writing/storytelling, videography)
o Graphic design, web design, and video production experience a plus.
o Excellent level of written and spoken English required. French also an asset.
